The WIIT Charitable Trust Scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to further educational objectives of women who are interested in international development, international relations, international trade, international economics, or international business.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria. No
exceptions will be considered.
Be currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited U.S. university or college, either full-time or
part- time. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible.
Demonstrated interest in international development, international relations, international
trade, international economics, or international business;
And be a woman.
Note: Applications from relatives of the directors and officers of the Association of Women in
International Trade, Inc. and members of the WIIT Charitable Trust Committee and the selection
committee are not eligible for consideration.
Awards will be based on quality of the assigned essay.
Furthermore, the selection committee will pay close attention to the candidate’s interest in international trade issues. Awards are made without regard to race, creed, color, or religion. WIIT reserves the right to revise, suspend, or discontinue this program without notice. Further, essays may be published in the WIIT Newsletter if they are of publishable quality.
