Beca offers 3 scholarships: the General Scholarship is open to college-bound high school seniors in San Diego County and offers $500-$1,000 in prize money. The Alice Newell Joslyn Medical Fund requires applicants to be entering the medical/health care profession. Applicants must be living or attending a high school or college in San Diego County at the time of application. Awards range between $500 - $2000 per academic year. Recipients may re-apply contingent on scholastic progress. The LAFS, Cal State University San Marcos general scholarship is open to all Latino students enrolled in at least 6 units at CSU San Marcos.
