This association offers the CLA Scholarship for Minority Students in memory of Edna Yelland. Applicant must be enrolled or accepted in master\\\'s program in an accredited California library school, be a member of one of the following groups- Native American, Black, Filipino, Mexican American, Latino Hispanic, Asian-American or Pacific Islander, be a California resident and a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident, provide evidence of financial need and be interviewed by the scholarship committee. There are three scholarships of $2,500 each awarded annually. Deadline to apply is May 31. Awards will be announced in August.
