Specifics: Must be a Latina woman enrolled in accredited college, university, or community college and have resided for at least two years in these Bay Area Counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma. Undergraduate students must be enrolled as a full time college student and have completed a minimum of 15 college semester units after high school graduation. All candidates must have demonstrated leadership and civic/community involvement. Applicants must agree, if awarded a scholarship, to volunteer a minimum of 5 hours in the next year in support of the Chicana/Latina Foundation. Cannot apply for a renewal.
