Specifics: This scholarship is renewable and intended for High School senior, full-time freshman, sophomore or junior study at a 2-year or 4-year institution in the United States. Eligible institutions must have physics department or provide for procurement of physics degree. Applicants must be African American, Latino, or American Indian and permanent residents or U.S. citizens. Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement with a major/career interest in physics. Application requires recommendations, essay, transcript, proof of eligibility and ACT/SAT scores. Applications available early November and due the first Friday in February. Must be a high school senior, college freshman or sophomore to apply. Additional $500 awarded to physics department at eligible institution. Visit website for additional information.
