The got milk?/Milk Mustache campaign, in partnership with USA Today recognizes 25 high school senior student athletes nationwide with a $7,500 scholarship for achievements in academics, athletics, community service and leadership and is kicking off Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) awards. The SAMMY scholarship program rewards high school scholar athletes who know the importance of good nutrition to help fuel academic and athletic activity and are chosen by a celebrity panel of milk mustache athletes. In addition, the 25 outstanding scholar athletes will receive a spot in a special milk mustache ad that will run in an issue of USA Today. Winners will also receive an all-expense paid trip to a special awards ceremony at The Milk House at Disney\\\'s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla. along with their picture in the SAMMY Hall of Fame located in The Milk House. The application process is easy, senior high school scholar athletes can submit their SAMMY applications online at www.whymilk.com. Applicants will be required to describe in 75 words or less how drinking milk has been a part of their life and training regimen. Deadline for entries is in March. Winners will be selected by June.
