The Asian American Journalist Association has several scholarships offered. Visit their website at www.aaja.org to view the specific guidelines for each scholarship. Only one scholarship application is necessary for all of the available scholarships which can be downloaded from the website. The general guidelines for the scholarships include: Commitment to the field of journalism, sensitivity to Asian American and Pacific Islander issues as demonstrated by community involvement, journalistic ability, and financial need. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior,undergraduate, or graduate and be enrolled full-time. Student must plan to take journalism courses or should be seriously pursuing journalism as a career.
