Specifics: This scholarship is offered by the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF). To be eligible, you must: Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the 2000 Census; and be a U.S. citizen of the Freely Associated States; be a first time incoming college student in the Fall of 2005; be enrolled full-time in a two or four year program at an accredited college or university in the United States, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands for the 2005-2006 college academic year (enrollment is verified in the fall of 2005); and have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the GED equivalent.
