Specifics: This scholarship offers more than $300,000 in scholarships and grants to new UCLA students. All California high school graduate who apply to UCLA are eligible for freshman alumni scholarships. The awards are paid out over 4 years*. If you are an out-of-state student, please contact the Alumni Association for information on out-of-state alumni scholarships.
Applications may be filed beginning Nov. 1 and are due on or before February 23, 2004. All scholarship recipients who have financial need may also be eligible for a one-year grant in addition to the scholarship. Grants range from $200 to $5,000 for the first year, depending on demonstrated financial need.
