Catholic High School Scholarship - Entering freshmen from Catholic High Schools are eligible to receive awards up to $5,000. These scholarships are awarded to full - time semester students and are renewable for three years. Lay Teacher Grants - Full-time teachers or administrators on contract with a Catholic elementary or secondary school in the Diocese of Oakland, full-time lay Diocesan Education Program Directors employed by the Diocese of Oakland, and full-time lay ministers or program directors employed by a parish or by the Diocese of Oakland can receive a tuition grant of up to $1,275 per year. Students must be admitted into select degree, certificate, or credential programs and be enrolled at least half time. Religious Discount - Undergraduate and graduate students, enrolled in a degree program, who are current members of religious orders, are eligible for a 35% tuition discount.
