College Information Day

In a collaborative effort with our Consortium member institutions, the East Bay Consortium holds an annual College Information Day at UC Berkeley. College Information Day aims to provide middle and high school students and parents the opportunity to explore the infinite higher education options that lay ahead of them.

Over 50 representatives from colleges and universities throughout the United States attend and offer prospective students a glimpse into their college. In addition, students and parents have the opportunity to attend several workshops in both English and Spanish. Workshop topics include: “Admissions Information”, “Financial Aid”, “Transfer: Making It Happen” (TMIH), “College: Making It Happen”, “Career Exploration:  When I grow up I want to be…”, “Completing the UC and CSU Application”, “Writing the UC Personal Insight Questions”, “Independent Colleges and Universities Information,” and more. These events are free of charge and open to all middle and high school students.

The East Bay Consortium’s College Day is usually held at the beginning of October, so check our events calendar and your school for the specific date.
